Maybe his TV character couldn’t dance and didn’t have soul, but Alfonso Ribeiro showed that he could jive, bringing in the high score of the night with nines across the board. At the bottom, was the oldest female contestant, fashion designer Betsey Johnson.

Ribiero and his partner Witney Carson impressed all the judges. Only one other team received nines, that was Sadie Robertson and Mark Ballas who did the slower tempo of the cha cha cha to a Katy Perry tune.

In third place was budding fashionista Bethany Mota with fan favorite Derek Hough who danced the jive to Taylor Swift’s “Shake It Off.” They were tied with actress Lea Thompson and Artem Chigvintsev who performed a foxtrot to a Natalie Cole tune.
