Fans and future fans of Peter S. Beagle’s “The Last Unicorn,” hurry on down to the Regency Lido Theatre for a special one-night only showing at 7:30 p.m.

Yesterday’s show at the Ray Stark Family Theatre at USC sold out, but there’s still time to get tickets to the Lido event which will include a red carpet.

A post-screening autograph signing and Q&A with the author and screenwriter Peter S. Beagle is planned. Last Unicorn books, Blu-rays, DVDs, graphic novels, art prints, clothing, and jewelry will be available for purchase and signing.

Costumes encouraged.

For a special extra treat, if you go up to Mr. Beagle and tell him I (Jana J. Monji) sent you or say “Examiner.com sent me,” and they’ll give them a free 35mm film frame from an actual 1982 theatrical print of THE LAST UNICORN, in a protective glassine envelope signed by Peter S. Beagle himself.
