DWTS 16: Ingo Rademacher brings sex appeal

There has to be at least one hunk on DWTS and for season 16, soap opera star Ingo Rademacher certainly qualifies. He’s paired with Kym Johnson.

Rademacher is known to ABC “General Hospital” fans as Jasper “Jax” Jacks. Off of the set, Rademacher was a ski champion and competitive equestrian. He’s also competed in beach volleyball and in triathlons. He also did a 32-mile stand-up paddle board race from Molokai to Oahu. So we know he has the stamina, but does he have the grace?

Rademacher is married and he and his wife Ehiku have two sons, Peanut (11 July 2008) and Pohaku (13 May 2012). Rademacher lives in Hawaii, but is on the board of the Santa Monica-based Heal the Bay.

He and his DWTS partner have an Australian connection. Rademacher’s first regular role was as part of the cast of an Australian TV series “Paradise Beach” (1993-1994).

Kym Johnson was a dance pro on the Australian version of DWTS and finished third the first season and first the second season. On the U.S. version, she’s won the mirrorball trophy twice: during season 9 with entertainer Donny Osmond and during season 12 with football player Hines Ward. She’s also finished second twice, during season 4 with singer Joey Fatone and during season 7 with football player Warren Sapp. Last season she was paired with Joey Fatone and finished in 12th place.

If Rademacher can find his inner dancer, Johnson could guide him to the semi-finals.
