Does this happen every year? I don’t know, but with the remake of “Fright Night” perhaps a new interest has risen in the original “Fright Night.” At Monsterpalooza in Burbank this weekend, you can meet the cast of the original “Fright Night” including:

• Chris Sarandon (“Fright Night,” Princess Bride” and “The Nightmare before Christmas”)
• Amanda Bearse (“Married with Children” and “Fright Night”)
• William Ragsdale (“Fright Night”)
• Stephen Geoffreys (“Fright Night” and “976-EVIL”)

Saturday and Sunday only:

• FX Artist Steve Johnson (“Fright Night” and “Blade II”)
• Director Tom Holland (“Fright Night” and “Child’s Play”)

For “Star Trek” fans makeup artist Michael Westmore will be there as well as guests from other monster movies.

Monsterpalooza is this weekend (13-15 April) in Burbank at the Marriott Burbank Airport Hotel and Convention Center. Tickets range from $20 for Friday to $50 (for all three days).
